With the click of a few buttons and the roll of your mouse, you can get all the information you need on your next cars insurance policy online.
We all enjoy the freedoms that owning a car provides. Driving allows us to travel practically whenever and wherever we want, but this freedom is not free. If you drive a car then you must at least have compulsory third party (CTP) insurance, and it's highly advisable that you have even more protection than this. Although most Aussies realize the importance of owning cars insurance coverage, they have difficulty in knowing exactly where to find that protection. But with the advent of the Internet, it should be a relief to know that you don't have to look very far at all to find the insurance that you need.

Don't be intimidated by the web

Surfing the Internet can seem like canvassing The Great Barrier Reef if you don't know where to look. When searching for car insurance you should try to narrow down your search by doing one of the following:

Shopping direct- Visiting the websites of cars insurance companies that you are already familiar with can prove beneficial to shoppers who have already made up their minds regarding which provider to select, and also to those who easily become overwhelmed by too much information. Shopping direct is also ideal if you have specific questions and would like to take advantage of online specials offered only to direct buyers, 1Cover has a great easy to use website where you can find competitive prices.

Use multi-comparison sites-If you're unsure of which cars insurance company to select, are looking to compare a number of rates and options, or are interested in reading consumer reviews, then multi-comparison sites are a great tool. These sites allow you to get insurance quotes instantly from multiple insurers and therefore provide you with an easy way to compare prices and other details without having to visit multiple sites, a great one to look at is www.comparecarinsurance.com.au.

Make the right selection

Any insurance company that you elect to purchase your car insurance from should be able to:

* Provide you with answers to your questions FAQ's

* Give you quotes that are fair and in-line with its competitors

* Provide a secure website and have a privacy policy

* Offer you detailed information on any cars insurance plan you're interested in

* Prove that they are licensed to do business in Australia, and specifically in the state you live in

About the Author : Peter Smyth

If you are in the market of shopping for cars insurance then we are here for you at 1Cover. We have been helping Australians with their car insurance needs for a new years now, so give us a try and get a free quote today.

Supported by : Healthy Life

Go green and save on your lease

Hybrid vehicles’ popularity has sharply grown from a couple of thousands in early 2000 to close to 300, 000 by the end of 2005. The trend is rapidly catching with the auto-leasing industry with generous tax credits and incentives on offer if you go green.

Beginning in 2006, businesses and taxpayers who lease, or purchase, an environmentally-friendly and fuel-efficient vehicle will be eligible to claim federal income tax credits worth thousands of dollars. Individual states also offer generous incentives, including hybrid state tax credits, new High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes access and discounted thruway tolls for alternative-fuelled vehicles. And that’s not all you can save from going green! You can now save on your parking fees at a number of universities and some auto-insurance companies are offering insurance discounts for hybrid-vehicle owners nationwide.

If you want to take advantage of these incentives and contribute to energy conservation then visit HybridCenter.org and complete a personal profile about your driving needs and habits. You will get in-depth advice on hybrid models that would make economic sense to you and local, state and federal incentives available where you live.

Tip About Auto Insurance and Leasing

When leasing a car, it’s easier to stick with the same company for your auto insurance. What you don’t know, however, is that you may end up paying too much for your coverage and it’s better to look elsewhere for lower rates.

When you lease, the vehicle that you will drive belongs to the leasing company. They want to make sure that their investment is covered in the event the vehicle gets damaged, totalled or stolen. They typically want to get covered for the difference between what your auto-insurer pays and your outstanding leasing obligations at the time of the accident or damage. This is called GAP, short for Guaranteed Auto rotection, and is usually included in the leasing contract.

If your leasing company is called BMW Financial Services, Chrysler Financial or any other finance division of an automaker, then chances are your GAP insurance will be offered by the same lease company.

You are under no obligation to accept GAP insurance included as part of your lease agreement. Why pay an insurance premium if you could get the same coverage for a lower price?

Invest some time shopping by comparing quotes from other insurance companies, including your existing one. Ask for discounts that you already qualify for and adjust your coverage accordingly.

How To Decide What Used Car To Buy

By: Louis Rix

The majority of people who wish to buy a used car have a clear picture in their mind of the type of car that they want, or at the very least some idea of whether they want a saloon or a hatchback. However by the time they have visited the showroom they can leave the forecourt driving away something very different from what they envisaged.

The reason behind this could be the salesman persuading you away from what you know is the right choice or you simply buy on impulse only to realise your mistake later. Here are some practical tips to help ensure you don?t make a big mistake when it comes to purchasing your car.

The first thing you should take into account is the size of the car; factors to take into consideration here are the size of your garage or drive and whether or not you have a family. If you have a family then purchasing a small two seated model is probably not the right choice. The same applies if you have limited space as then you aren?t going to be able to fit a big car into it.

The size is also determined by the build you are, for example if you are a tall person then you will have to ensure that you have adequate room, you don?t want to have to open the sunroof and stick out your head in order to see where you are going.

Take into account what it is that you need the car for. Are you going to be towing a caravan or attaching a trailer to it on a regular basis? If you are then you should consider a car with a bigger engine such as a four wheel drive. If you only want something to run about in the city then your choice might be better suited to a smaller hatchback model. The car you choose should fit in with your lifestyle.

Another important factor that you should always take into account when considering the type of car is how much it will cost to insure. The size, make and model of the car are all factors that are taken into consideration when it comes to determining the quote for your premium for the car insurance.

Finally, you have the choice of going for a petrol or diesel model; there are many advantages to choosing a diesel model rather than petrol. The diesel engine is considered to be more reliable and the fuel is more economical. However there are bad points too and these include the engine of the car being worked harder which means a major overhaul. Cars that run on diesel are also often overpriced and they aren?t considered to be environmentally friendly when compared to petrol engines.

About The Author

Louis Rix is a Director of NetCars (http://www.netcars.co.uk), one of the UK's leading motoring websites. If you have a good credit past then this will go in your favour when it comes to getting the best rate of interest. However, all is not lost if you have had problems with credit in the past, although you still can get credit when it comes to getting a loan for a car you wont get the best interest rates, but by shopping around you can get a good car loan deal.

If you have an excellent credit rating then it might be in your best interest to go for a personal loan, by going for a personal loan you are able to shop around online and secure the cheapest loan and rate of interest. It also works another way in your best interests because as you already have the cash in your pocket by going for a personal loan you can go along to the dealer and offer cash.

The majority of time if you pay cash for your car then you can get extras; the dealer could knock something off the price you pay if you pay cash there and then or offer you bonuses such as money off your insurance. Another benefit is that you will drive away from the showroom knowing that the dealer isn?t in a position to repossess the car should you miss a repayment.

One possibility when it comes to financing your car is to take the finance through the dealer where you choose to buy your car from. However the majority of times the rate of interest will be a lot higher than if you had shopped around for a personal loan, one of the biggest benefits of taking this type of finance is that it is easier to get but you of course will pay for this privilege.

If you do have bad credit history and have been turned down time and time again for credit, then it still might be possible for you to get a loan to buy a car. If you look online then there many places which now offer loans to those with bad credit ratings, however by doing so you can expect of course to have to pay a high rate of interest on the loan.

Whichever way you decide to go for your car loan deal the best place to start is to go online, the internet holds a vast amount of information about the different types of car loan deals that are available and also the best rates of interest or best offers at car dealerships.

About The Author

Louis Rix is a Director of NetCars (http://www.netcars.co.uk), one of the UK's leading motoring websites. The majority of people will have to think about finance options in order to make the purchase and when it comes to car financing there are many ways you can choose to go.

One of the most popular ways that many people choose to take when it comes to buying their car, simply because it is the quickest and easiest option the majority of the time, is taking the finance options available at the dealership where you buy your car. While in some cases this can work out well there are also some cons to consider. Taking a loan this way usually means that it isn?t the most competitive way and the salesman could pressure you to include add-ons to bump up the cost of the loan.

Another popular way and sometimes one which can work to your advantage especially if you take advantage of low interest rates is to go for a personal loan. By looking around online and comparing rates of interest, this is very usually the cheapest way to get car financing, one of the biggest benefits you can gain from going down this avenue is that with cash in hand you can usually get more discounts from the dealer if you pay cash outright. This however isn?t as convenient as taking finance through the dealership and means that you will have to have a figure in mind when it comes to requesting your personal loan.

When it comes to car financing without a doubt the best and first place you should to look is on the internet. Whichever type of insurance you go for you are able to get a huge amount of information and if you have decided to go for a personal loan then you can take advantage by getting several quotes for the cheapest rate of interest. It is important that you check out several because by doing so you will be able to make comparisons which ensures you are getting the best deal.

However always make sure that you know what the total amount of the loan will cost you in the end and also be aware that if you choose a bank from which to take your loan then most probably they will try adding optional payment protection insurance to the cost of the loan which can boost up the repayments a lot.

About The Author

Louis Rix is a Director of NetCars (http://www.netcars.co.uk), one of the UK's leading motoring websites. Yes, time and again we have all faced some form of damage to the surface of our cars ? and each time it happens, our heart breaks a little more. After all, we're all possessive about our cars ? it's personal. It's yours.

So what do you do next?

So now you've had this dent in your car and you're looking for a method of fixing it. You could go the conventional way and call up the standard dent removal companies. But then imagine what your car would look like with varying hues of the same color at different places on the car surface? Hideous, right? That's where modern day technology comes to the rescue ? it's called mobile paintless dent removal. It's efficient, effective and best of all you don't need to even lift a finger! This is a new technique that is slowly catching up among dent removal companies. It involves gentle massaging of the dents without any damage to surface paint.

Why is mobile paintless dent removal so great?

One reason why this new age technique works so great is because it never hurts the paint on your car! With highly sophisticated tools, the damage is addressed from its root cause ? from behind the paint. That means no more sanding, no more painting over the surface and definitely no body filling needed! Mobile paintless dent removal involves carefully working upon each dent to restore it back to its original shape and size. In fact after the repair no one would ever be able to tell that your car suffered a dent! This technique is a highly skilled art ? one that necessitates in-depth expertise and qualifications. Very few companies have the necessary expertise to carry it off but the few that do ? they're well worth spending on. The best thing about mobile paintless dent removal is that these technicians will come to you ? you will never need to go to them for repair work on your car.

Origins of this method

It all started in the early 1980s ? when mobile paintless dent removal was still at its fledgling stages. In those times, it was restricted to only very small dents that could easily be removed. However, as this technique began to gain popularity, the PDR or Paintless Dent Removal technicians began trying it on bigger dents. Very soon they found that even huge dents could be completely eliminated without leaving a trace behind!

Exceptions to the rule: scenarios where mobile paintless dent removal may not work

Just as in any other case, even in this dent removal technique, there are certain situations where the method may not work as well as expected. The technique will not work if there happens to be a crack on the surface paint. It may be possible if there are edges.

Most of the automobiles are suitable candidates for mobile paintless dent removal.

About The Author

Steve Magill, the managing director of DENT MASTERWALES LTD, believes that mobile dent repair services will take away your stress when you dent your car. Our services will help save you time and money, and at the same time provide complete satisfaction through an effective dent removal process. Yet the part it plays is in no way negligible. In winters, it protects the boarders from snow and cold. In summers, it prevents rain from pouring inside the car. But this is not all that the roof of a car can do for you. You can attach roof boxes on it to get a better service from the hitherto unused part of your car.

On a normal day, when you use your car for day-to-day commuting like going to and coming from the office or shop, you do not feel the necessity of roof boxes that much. But on weekends or on holidays, when you set out for a journey that is different from your daily drive, the need for roof tops is badly felt. On that occasion, you need to carry things that you would not require on an average day.

Suppose you are on a journey with your family and you need to carry a lot of extra luggage that the boot of the car cannot accommodate. In such a situation, the roof boxes will be of great value. You can put all the extra accessories in it. Similarly, if you are out on fishing, tracking, biking etc. then also you have to take equipment that cannot be kept inside the boot of the car.

Some of the apparatus one needs to carry with him while he is on some outdoor activities may be not accommodated within a box. Hence, there occurs the necessity of some other kit that can take care of the rather bigger accessory. And it is the roof racks that serve the purpose very well. Bikes, fishing rods and wheel chairs etc. cannot be accommodated in a box but can be easily fixed with a rack.

About The Author

Alexus Devon is an automobile writer specializing in automobile and car accessories (such as roof boxes) products and has written authoritative articles on the car accessories industry. Drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; or

2. Drive with 0.08% or more of alcohol in your blood.

If you are stopped by a police officer on the suspicion that you have been driving under the influence, you should remember that you have legal rights that should be observed. You must remember the following procedures that police officers must observe under the circumstances and they are as follows:

1. The police officer must have probable cause to stop or detain you;

2. You should be advised that field sobriety testing is not required by law;

3. The police officer must read you your Miranda rights;

4. The police must let you choose to either submit to breath or blood testing; and

5. If you refuse to submit to any tests, the police officer should explain to you the consequences of your refusal.

Also, after you are stopped by the police for DUI, don?t forget to do the following:

1. Decline to answer questions that may incriminate you;

2. Politely ask or request for the presence of your attorney;

3. Since field sobriety testing is not mandated by law, you can choose not to take one;

4. If you are 21 years of age or above, you can decline to take any breath testing; and

5. If asked to take the required evidentiary breath test or blood test, agree to do so only if you are confident that your alcohol level is under 0.08%.

Initially, DUI carries a misdemeanor penalty there are more serious consequences if you happen to be involved in an accident and even more if you caused injuries to other persons due to your DUI. Aside from the foregoing, even without actually getting into an accident, your sentence may also be increased under the following circumstances:

1. Having a prior conviction within ten years from the current arrest;

2. Having a blood alcohol level of over 0.15%;

3. Having a child as a passenger who is under 14 years old;

4. Refusing to submit to legally mandated testing or chemical testing; or

5. Speeding 20 mph over the limit.

Although the above information is very handy when you are accosted for suspected DUI, still, the best course of action is not to drive if you consumed alcohol. More than the damage to you, it will be more devastating to other individuals who might become victims to drunk drivers.

About The Author

Atty Gabriel Cosh is a legal advocate and a practitioner of law for over 10 years now. If you ride off road including motorcycles or atv?s, and have been considering a hydration (drinking system) system to keep your body cool, read on.

All across America racers and casual riders alike use hydration systems to ride longer and harder. What is hydration anyway? Hydration is defined as a normal body fluid level. The human body requires a certain amount of fluid everyday to function properly. Off road riders benefit from adequate fluid intake in many ways.

Increased physical performance and endurance come with proper hydration. Another benefit of adequate hydration is the ability to retain mental toughness through periods of high physical exertion.

Hydration systems consist of a reservoir (to hold fluid) with a tube and bite valve that fits neatly into a backpack type strap system. This typically slips over the riders? shoulders and is hardly noticed while riding. The reservoirs hold 45-100oz. of hydrating fluids depending on the model chosen. A typical system is shown below. Note the model below has convenient zippered pockets to hold small items such as keys, cell phones, energy bars or tools.

The minimum daily fluid intake varies with age and activity level but is generally equal to four 8-ounce glasses of water per day. Off road riders require 2-3 times that.

Exercise induced dehydration (lower than normal body fluid level) can lead to decreased aerobic endurance, increased body temperature and increased heart rate. Muscles fatigue more quickly and become prone to cramping.

Here is how you can keep yourself hydrated when riding off road:

? Drink 8 to 10 8ounce glasses of water per day

? Drink extra water before, during (using a hydration system) and after exercise

? Avoid drinks with caffeine (coffee, cola) that can actually increase dehydration by causing a higher urine output

? Avoid alcoholic beverages which can also cause higher urine outputs therefore leading to greater dehydration

As always, listen to your body. Fatigue, dizziness, rapid heart rate and even nausea can result no matter how hydrated you are. If these symptoms occur stop your ride, find some shade, lie down and put your feet up.

By following the suggestions above you can feel confident about your hydration status. Many electric scooter models have been designed for kids too.

In these models, electric scooters for girls are also available. If you are planning to buy an electric scooter for your little girl see to it that it's pink in color. Girls love this color. Secondly it should be lightweight and your little girl should easily carry it without anyone?s help.

If she can ride it on her own with out her parent's help, it can boost her confidence immediately. She can use her new electric scooter for riding it around the neighborhood easily. Another feature you should look for a girl electric scooter is a small headlamp. This feature will be really helpful if you have a little foggy weather around.

How much should be the weight of a girl electric scooter?

There are many models to choose from but an ideal weight for a girl electric scooter would be 22 to 25 pounds with plastic body. A little girl can easily handle that much and it's good if it has three wheels. This will make it easier to her for learning to ride. On three wheeler electric scooter balances she can quickly pick up various controls of the scooter without worrying too much about the balancing factor.

Also as a parent keep in mind that an electric scooter needs recharging the battery everyday. Keep the electrical charging stuff to yourself. However make it a point to explain your little girl how the whole scooter works. It will be a great new piece of information for her.

Copyright S.M.Vaidya

Get the insider news on electric scooter reviews and ratings with stunning images for the best-selling electric scooters in the market today. From the day they were designed and manufactures they underwent a lot changes and innovations. Gas scooters have evolved to the point where they are now controlled by computers and taking the shape of artificial intelligence.

Electric scooter o the other hand has been made commercially available recently. Previously an attempt to create a vehicle for the elderly and the handicapped was done using an electrically powered vehicle in the form of an electric wheelchair. An electric wheelchair became a popular mode of effortless transpiration for the physically disabled persons.

But as there was more research done into the storing of electricity using batteries, new and advanced batteries have come up that last longer and can be recharged quickly. This age rise to their use for vehicles. Another major reason why electrics scooters have started to grow in popularity is constantly increasing gas prices. It is becoming more and more difficult for the common man to own a car and use it for leisure purposes.

Gas powered scooters will always have a threat to our planet's environment because of it's exhaust gases. On the other hand electric scooters are sleek, have zero polluting agents, are virtually noiseless and lightweight. Many electric scooters have designed that can be folded and carried away by lifting in hands. Because of their lightweight kids and elderly people can use then easily. Those who love in metro cities know that facing everyday traffic jams is the worst thin that can happen while returning home in the evening. In such cases an electric scooter is handy vehicle, which can be maneuvered easily even in tightest traffic jams.

Thus an electric scooter is far more economical and affordable solution in the long run. The only cost the electric scooter will have is the charging of the battery everyday and the electricity required for it. To cater to this situation it is advisable that start using an electric scooter along with a gas powered one and see the difference yourself. Analyze the running cost of a gas and electric scooter for a month or two and then decide upon the frequency of usage of both gas and electric scooters.

Copyright S.M.Vaidya

Get the insider news on electric scooter reviews and ratings with stunning images for the best-selling electric scooters in the market today. If your motorcycle is cruising along at 55 mph and your rear motorcycle tire suddenly deflates [has a blow out!] you now have a tremendously, dangerous challenge ahead of you. Avoiding other vehicles, controlling the steering, a swaying rear-end making everything unstable makes for a sizable victory when you roll off the side of the road and come to a stop. Congratulations, job well done! More riders than not end in an accident or something worse. All because of their motorcycle tires. Who knows your thoughts if it is the front tire to blow? You better be prayed up.

We all want a sharp looking bike. Once you select your make and model, your interest is on chrome, color, accessories, personal appearance, dress etc. but let us not forget about the importance of the rubber motorcycle tires that get us around. Frame, structure and engine all work together and hopefully are worry free for years. Motorcycle tires keep moving and we need to often watch for wear and safety.

There are two critical places that motorcycles need to be checked before each ride or at least once a month. Both are easy to do and both are many times overlooked. One area is brake fluid. If the pedal is mushy, bleed the lines or have someone else do it. Two, motorcycle tires need to be inspected. Why do we forget these?

Our safety depends on it. We trust our life to the two motorcycle tires under us that have at best two patches of rubber in contact with the ground the size of our two hands at any given moment. Move that along at 55 mph or even at 15 mph and each of the motorcycle tires is taking on a serious responsibility. The attention and care we offer towards our motorcycle tires can help us tremendously with our safety and enjoyment of biking.

Here are some areas where things can go wrong with your motorcycle tires:

- Tire Pressure: Under-inflation may cause uneven wear, loss of control [stability], wears the motorcycle tires out faster and increases the chances of the motorcycle tires failure. Over-inflation allows motorcycle tires to heat up, limit traction [although a slight 10% over-inflation may actually increase traction in wet conditions] and affects the wear. To correct these, use a good tire gauge and check the motorcycle tires when it is cool. Keep the motorcycle tires pressure at the recommended PSI.

- Fluids: Brake fluid, gas and lube spills need to be cleaned immediately. It deteriorates the rubber. Many of the cleaner protectants used on motorcycle tires harm the finish rubber. The best way to clean is to use old-fashioned soap and water.

- Bumps: Potholes, curbs and stones may slash or crack the tire. Look for any problem.

- Accelerated wear: Everyday use may be a potential hazard. Spinning motorcycle tires on take off or holding the brake on emergency stops need to be checked.

- Nails, screws etc.: It is better to find them before you ride than to discover these nuisances 20 minutes down the road. Motorcycle tires that use a tube may ?pop? from a nail/screw or sharp object, where a tubeless tire may have the nail/screw actually plug the hole they created which gives you a little more time for repairs.

- Valve stems: Make sure the cap is on. It helps to protect the valve stem from leaking air and protects the stem valve from opening by centrifugal force and leaking air at higher speeds. When you use motorcycle tires with tubes, the valve stem should be straight out. If it is on a slant, the tire has been under-inflated and the tube has moved around the rim. Often this damages the tube and creates a leak.

- Tire weights: Weights need to be firmly fixed to the rim. If they fall off it will throw the tire out of balance and cause uneven wear.

- Rim: Cracked or dented rims are potential problems. You may want to replace wire spoke wheels when they become damaged with a cast or billet wheel that uses tubeless tires. Check with your dealer on this.

- Worn/torn: Thin tread is easier to detect. Flat wear is due to leaning very little and driving mostly in a straight line, resulting in a ridge at the edge of the flattened middle of the tire. This causes motorcycle tires to become unstable in a leaning turn. It wants to warble. The tire may have more wear but it should be replaced. [It is good to replace both front tire and rear tire at the same time.] Sidewall punctures, cracking, cord separation are an alert.

- Tread: Check the grooves called ?sipes? making sure that the tread is still sufficient. The lack of having tread affects the cooling of the tire when in use, wear, stability, traction and can cause hydroplaning on wet roads.

When doing your inspection of motorcycle tires get a friend to roll the bike while you check the tread and sidewalls. You may need to get a work stand if alone. Obstacles to having a good inspection are long pipes, saddlebags, fenders etc. making it hard to see the rear tire. Front motorcycle tires are a bit easier to examine. This sounds like a lot but it goes quickly and is easy to do. Make it a habit to check your motorcycle tires frequently.

Some miscellaneous information you need to know. You will have better handling and get more out your motorcycles tires when you keep the rear tire aligned and balanced. Consider having this looked at approximately every1000 miles. Be careful when you have new motorcycle tires it takes the first couple of rides to get traction working well.

So! Happy riding and remember to check your motorcycle tires often.

Lonny Wolford, website builder, visit www.toplinemotorcycles.com

Lady Drivers Can Make Savings On Their Car Insurance

By: Louis Rix

Unfortunately your sex can make a huge difference to the amount of car insurance that you pay. Women drivers while having been the brunt of many jokes, particularity from male drivers, can in fact get cheaper car insurance than men.

Statistics have shown that women are indeed safer drivers than men, this is because women have been proven to make less claims than men do on their insurance. They also usually go for much less flashier cars than men choose, instead going for the more reserved and what is classed as the safer car.

There are many online companies now taking advantage of this fact and as such are offering deals specifically aimed at the women driver. Lady drivers can now search online for companies aimed at them and by doing so they can make huge savings on the amount of premiums they pay for car insurance.

However, there are other factors that determine how cheap you get your car insurance, regardless of your sex. The best, cheapest and quickest way to look for your car insurance is by doing so online. By looking online for your car insurance you are able to get instant quotes from many companies which ensures that you choose the cheapest deal possible.

Policy features and benefits and the cost of car insurance does vary from company to company and all policies have exclusions hidden within them so it is essential that you understand just what is included in the quote.

Other factors which are taken into account include the area in which you live. Depending on your postcode you can be charged a higher premium for your car insurance. While there isn't much you can do to change this you can make sure you have the best security features installed on your car, by doing so you can help to reduce the premium.

About The Author

Louis Rix is a Director of NetCars (http://www.netcars.co.uk), one of the UK's leading motoring websites. Be it hunters, Soccer Moms or anyone in between, everybody wants the inside of their car to be neat and tidy. So, what they do to maintain the cleanliness of car floor! Obviously, it is the car mats they turn to. By putting some nice looking mats on the floor, they keep the floor clean and protected as well.

But mats are something that a car owner probably does not think about very often. It is when they consider the high cost of replacing the carpet for their car, floor mats suddenly become a cost-effective option. They are available not only in a variety of colours but also affordable within the budget of even the most frugal car owners.

Car mats are an essential accessory when it comes to protecting your investment, especially if you live in an area that witnesses lots of winter weather. Without this particular car accessory, slush and snow can soak into your car through the carpet padding, and cause rusting on the floor pans even before you know it. So, mats deserve equal attention as any other accessory.

Buying car mats also deserve a little extra care. It is not possible for you to make time and shop for it frequently. So, take a little time out of your busy schedule and decide what type of mats will perfectly suit your need. Mats are available in a wide variety of colours and materials to suit the demand of any and every user.

An all-vinyl floor mat or heavy-duty floor mat may be a better choice, if ice, snow, and slush are common in the part of the country where you drive your car very often. Custom-fit floor mats are available for other type of weather also. Regarding colour they offer an unlimited variety. So, there will be no problem to get one that matches with the colour and interior design of the car.

About The Author

Alexus Devon is an automobile writer specializing in automobile and car accessories (such as Car mats) products and has written authoritative articles on the car accessories industry. Because of their lightweight body structure electric scooters are popular amongst kids and elderly people too.

However many people think that electric scooters are not fast enough. if you are one of them, think again! Electric scooters can travel at a sped of 10 miles an hour or more. Well they can not obviously travel or compete with the gas powered ones but the technology is still new and more and more advanced versions will be hitting the market soon.

The concept of the electric scooters being new, most people can only imagine an electric wheelchair used by handicapped person as the only alternative of the electrically driven vehicle that can be commercially purchased. But the newly designed electric scooters have changed this picture very fast. The new commercially available electric scooters are not only fast but also extremely easy to maneuver in tight traffic jams. Again moving around on them is fun and noiseless. Zero pollution is another great advantage.

The running cost of an electric scooter is way much less than a gas powered one. The only need is the battery charging after regular intervals and you are ready to drive it. Fast electric scooters are popular amongst kids and teenagers because it's a great way to travel from school/colleges to home without wasting time in traffic jams. Kids even have their own fast electric scooter racing events in the neighborhoods.

Thus electric scooters can take you to your desired location fast and quickly. Do not underestimate their capacities to drive longer distances in less time. It is strongly recommended to read the reviews of such fast electric scooters before you purchase them. You will be glad you did something very important to save our planet from polluting gases.

Copyright S.M.Vaidya

Get the insider news on electric scooter reviews and ratings with stunning images for the best-selling electric scooters in the market today. Over here in the States, we would not have considered even thinking about using them until the latest gas crunch that is striking the country.

On my way to work I have been seeing more and more of these on the roadways. Recently I decided to do some checking online for prices, gas mileage, etc on scooters. All of the top motorcycle companies make these. For the most part they are all automatic with very small gas tanks.

The most popular scooter out there right now is the 2007 Yamaha Vino Classic. The Vino Classic has been around for years. The 2007's can also be purchased now for much cheaper prices than the 2008's.

Some useful statistics on the Vino are as follows:

115 miles per gallon
Top speed 90 kilometers per hour (56 mph)
Automatic
Electric Starter

All of these combined make the scooter a great choice for transportation needs where you do not have to carry large loads.

An important issue of note is that they can be quite dangerous in heavily populated areas and roadways. In South Florida they can be especially dangerous with the elderly drivers. There is also the issue of the larger SUV's on the roadways that might have difficulty seeing drivers on scooters during the night time.

For more information on the Yamaha Vino Classic check online resource http://www.Encyclomoto.com , the motorcycle encyclopedia at: Yamaha Vino Classic. If the parts look grumpy and all worn-out, that won’t pretty serve you much for long. So why invest in buying a cheap one when it entitles you to overspend when it crashes.

In buying motorcycles, it would be better if you know the owner you are buying from. However, the idea of driving a motorcycle under the influence is even more dangerous for a number of reasons.

First, it's more deadly. Riders do not have the advantage and security of a metal cage a vehicle offers in the event of a crash. In fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (2003), motorcyclists are about 26 times as likely to die in a traffic accident. It's clear why, it's the reason you love to ride, no restriction, open road. But it's also no air bags, no safety features, and open concrete with vehicles all around you.

Second, motorcyclists were more likely to be intoxicated than any other driver, the highest of any type of vehicle. Motorcyclists had the highest rate of alcohol use among all vehicle types in crashes, motorcycles counting 37 percent, next to passenger cars at 27 percent, and sport utility vehicles at 27 percent.

Lastly, operating a motorcycle requires much more coordination than driving a passenger vehicle. Your reflexes are slowed, your vision is impaired, and you are less coordinated.

For all of the efforts of law enforcement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and motorcycle groups themselves to lower the incidence of riding while under the influence, the amount of motorcyclist fatalities rose from 1998 to 200, after it had been declining from 1993 to 1997.

Additional efforts are being made to reduce the number of accidents related to riding and alcohol use. This includes making people aware of the risks and having them take responsibility for themselves and others on the road.

About The Author

An avid motorcyclist for over 35 years riding all different types of motorcycles, dirt bikes, sport bikes, cruisers and touring bikes.

Visit us at http://www.keyleather.com

Used Car Auto Loans A Car Is Ready For You

By: Gary Grobowski

If you do not have the sufficient funds to buy a new car, then do not be desperate and consider the used car auto loans. There are a huge amount of websites where sellers list their cars along with photos and detailed descriptions and this is the easiest and quickest way to find the car of your dreams. However when it comes to buying the car, there are some things that you should take into account, with this is mind here are some tips for a buying a used car.

Before you even go looking for your car make sure you have a general idea of how much cars of similar age and type go for second hand. Also bear in mind the repair costs of the model, the safety aspects of that particular model and how much the car would cost to insure.

Once you have made contact with the seller and have gone to check the car over, it is essential that you get to see all documents related to the cars history. This will give you an idea of how well the car has been treated and if it has had all the check ups it should have had.

If you are buying your used car from a dealer then you have the right to see the written warranty that is provided by the dealer before you buy, this is one way of making sure of what you are getting before you commit yourself.

When you go to look at the car make sure that you give it a through inspection in good lighting and that you take it for a test drive. Where possible make sure that you test drive the car in most situations, for example up and down hills, in heavy traffic where you are stopping and starting and if possible a brief drive down the motorway. This will all tell you how the car handles and feels and pay particular attention to not only how the car handles but also how the engine sounds.

One of the best tips when it comes to buying a used car is if you know nothing about cars then make sure that you take someone with you who does. If you don?t have a friend or family member then it can pay to book someone from an auto club to go with you and look over the car. While of course this will cost you in the long run it can work out cheaper if the car is nothing more than an old banger.

Always remember that while you can get a good bargain when it comes to buying your used car privately you won?t have any warranty as such as you would get from a used car dealer. So usually you will buy the car ?as seen? and this is the risk you take for saving a couple of hundred pounds or more on the car.

Whichever way you choose to go to buy your used car with a little common sense and by following the tips for buying a used car outlined above you can grab yourself a great bargain.

About The Author

Louis Rix is a Director of NetCars http://www.netcars.co.uk, one of the UK's leading motoring websites. If a manufacturer gives discounted prices for a new car of the same model, you can’t sell your car at the best price. In other words, the best time to sell your used car is when the prices for the model you have are at the highest. Hence the important factor that affects the price of a used car is the price of a new car of that model you own. So it is better to wait until the price of a new car of your model goes up rather than selling it when the manufacturer gives discounts for a new car of your model.

Preparing your car for selling it is a must. You have to consider what the potential buyer thinks of your car. So you have to maintain the interior and the exteriors of your car properly. If your car is not clean inside and out, the potential buyer may not think positively about your car. This simple issue might make you lose a possible deal. Therefore proper maintenance of your car is essential to fetch a good price for your used car. Some people might overlook some serious problems in the car if the car looks shiny and glowing. Touch up scratches on the exterior and interior. Make up the small dents in it. Balance the tires properly. Clean inside and out. This might fetch you a profitable deal.

The price of your car should take into consideration the mileage and the condition of the car. You might also consider the demand for that model. Cars that have run for more miles are often not preferred and they are considered ‘used up’. Hence most of the people prefer cars that have run for fewer miles per year. Usually a potential buyer would consider the price that you have fixed for your car as the asking price and he would negotiate the price. It is always better to have a margin of 5f the price that you want to sell so that your can negotiate that 5

About the author:
Complements of http://www.USGasTracker.org,a premier company which helps the consumer save money on gasoline. Get an auto loan the smart way. Read on.

Most people really get taken for a ride on their auto loan. Did you know that differences in the total cost of different auto loans can run into a thousand dollars or more? Here’s how you can get the lowest rate:

Make a list of different auto loan lenders and their interest rates and terms, before you go to the dealer (the web is usually the easiest way to do that). Did you know dealers get a commission on the loans they refer? If you’re not careful, that extra bit of money for the lender could mean you pay a higher rate than you would if you got the loan yourself.

Get a credit report and figure out your FICO scores. Removing any incorrect negative information from your report will help you get a better deal. Knowing exactly what your score is will help you figure out what interest rate you can realistically get.

Have bad credit? Try going to your credit union, bank or another institution where you have a relationship. Lenders like to help out established customers. If your bank still won’t help, online "bad credit auto loan" lenders usually offer better less expensive loans than dealers who advertise their great deals for people with poor credit.

Use a vehicle loan calculator. It will tell you what your loan will cost each month. It saves you the time of looking at vehicles you can’t afford, makes you aware of what information you’ll need to apply for a loan, and is a "reality check" of your financial condition.

Comparison shop, comparison shop, comparison shop. You don’t get the least expensive car by choosing a dealer at random, and you won’t get the least expensive auto loan that way, either.

Start researching your options now:

Get credit reports and FICO scores here:

Use this vehicle loan calculator:

Comparison shop among these lenders:

About the author:
Joel Walsh is a regular contributor to Auto Loan :http://www.cars-auto-loans.com, a website with information on car loan lenders, vehicle loan calculators, and other auto loan tools

Auto Insurance Rates

by: Sher Matsen

will vary depending on the insurance agency, your driving record, and the type of insurance you are looking to purchase. I you are looking for affordable car insurance or truck insurance then read on.

There are ways to reduce your premiums without giving up coverage. One of the easiest things to do is get auto insurance rate quotes online. This will allow you to comparative shop stress free.

Raising your deductibles is the easiest way to reduce your rates. The higher the deductible, the lower the premium will be. The deductible is the portion you will have to pay in the event of accident, before your insurance coverage steps in. It’s important not to carry a deductible that’s more than what you are able to pay. Your insurance company will not honor its portion of the claim until you’ve paid your deductible. However, the higher your deductible the lower your premium cost will be, so you need to find a

Always remember to ask your insurance broker for any available discounts. Quite often we forget to ask and they don’t seem to volunteer the information. A clean record on the current policy for a certain period of time, having your homeowner's coverage with the same insurer, taking a defensive driving course, having an accident free driving record, and having an approved anti-theft device will reduce your auto insurance rates.

The type of car you drive can also reduce your rates. Stay away from cars that have a high class rating. Rates vary among the different makes and models of vehicles. The different rates are based on the risk of accident, cost to repair, higher theft rates for a particular model and replacement costs such as with a new vehicle. So be sure your vehicle isn’t going to be in a category that increases your rates too much.

A safe driving record consisting of no accidents and no traffic violations will get you the most substantial discount. Most insurance companies are very good at recognizing good driving habits. These are the drivers they want to insure because their risk is much lower.

If the car is old and not very valuable, comprehensive insurance is probably not worth buying as it can quickly add up to more than you’d ever receive in the event of an accident. You can save up to 20% by eliminating collision insurance. You may want to opt not to carry collision insurance as well which can save you and additional 20%.

Check around to make sure you are getting the best auto rates you can. It is one of the least exciting chores that is required in order to have a car on the road, but it is worth seeking out the most competitive car insurance estimate available. Although getting a car insurance estimate from a number of companies isn’t a desirable task; many people spend far more than they absolutely have to each year on their auto insurance because they simply haven’t taken the time to compare rates and policies with other auto insurance companies. It would be hard to find someone who would walk into an appliance store and decide to spend $200.00 more on a washer that offers the same exact quality and features as the one next to it that costs far less. It doesn’t make too much sense to do the same thing with car insurance.

Most of the time, a car insurance estimate will include collision, liability and comprehensive coverage on a vehicle. Most households have two or more vehicles and every car should be included when seeking out a car insurance estimate. There are a few things that can be done to make getting a car insurance estimate easier and more accurate especially when dealing with more than one car insurance company.

One of the best things to do before looking for a car insurance estimate is to see exactly what the state requirements are as far as what the necessary minimum coverage is in order to have adequate coverage. This is something that might be better to do without the assistance of an insurance agency if possible because their job is to sell insurance and they make more money with the more coverage they are able to sell.

In order to spend less time on the phone when looking for a car insurance estimate, it is a good idea to have a number of items handy including a driver’s license, vehicle identification numbers, make, model and year of each car and even the name and contact information for the company that is financing all vehicles if applicable. There are also a number of factors that can be taken into consideration when seeking a car insurance estimate that may mean additional savings per year. Features on each auto including airbags, auto alarms, anti-lock brakes and other things may mean discounts on auto insurance. Some insurance companies will even offer discounts for having more than one policy with their company as well as insuring multiple cars through with their coverage. Additional discounts may be found through other things like accident-free driving record, defensive driving course incentives and other discounts.

Other circumstances may cost a driver more with certain companies when looking for a car insurance estimate. Men under the age of 25, single drivers, younger drivers under the age of 21, the number of miles driven per day and even the kind of car that is driven can cost a person more money on car insurance when shopping around. The best part about this is that not one car insurance will probably charge the same amount of money for the same coverage so shopping around will prove that there are better choices available.

About The Author
Timothy is the webmaster and owner of " Discounted-Car-Insurance.com " and has been researching and reporting on Car Insurance Estimate solutions for years. Being complacent and purchasing car insurance without carefully investigating your options or maintaining the same car insurance for the remainder of your life could mean that you are paying too much for your car insurance. Comparison shopping, ensuring that you are receiving all the discounts you qualify for and maintaining a clean driving record are just a few of the money saving tips that can save you a fortune on car insurance.

Comparison shopping for car insurance, even after you are already insured, cannot be underestimated. It is critical that you investigate all of your options before choosing an insurance provider to ensure that you are getting the best possible rate on your car insurance. There are so many factors considered in car insurance policies such as where you live, your driving record, your age and the type of car you drive just to name a few. With all of these factors to consider, it is very possible that you will find that there is a car insurance provider who will offer you a considerably lower rate than other providers.

Even after you have secured insurance for your car, it is wise to periodically check the rates that other providers will offer you. Car insurance as well as your circumstances are perpetually changing and you may find that the provider who is willing to offer you the best car insurance rate varies periodically. Many car insurance providers offer a host of discounts to their clients who qualify for these discounts. These discounts can relate to your driving record, safety features of your car, your age or other factors.

These discounts can result in a tremendous cost savings on your car insurance policy but while many insurance providers offer these discounts, they don’t always advertise them. This means that you may have to do research to determine what type of discounts you may qualify to receive. Carefully, review your car insurance policy to determine which discounts you are already receiving and then contact your car insurance provider to inquire about other discounts that may be available. For example if your driving record is devoid of accidents or tickets, you may qualify for a good driver discount.

Also, if your car has certain safety features such as daytime running lights, you may also qualify for car insurance discounts. Your age can also qualify you for certain car insurance discounts. Some insurance providers also offer discounts to those who insure their house with the same company as they insure their car. Taking advantage of this type of discount can save you money on both your car and home insurance. Being aware of the discounts that are available and ensuring that you are receiving these discounts, can save you a great deal of money on your car insurance.

Finally, maintaining a clean driving record is very important to receiving the best available car insurance rate. While it is true that each car insurance provider is unique in the factors that contribute to lower rates, the one factor that is consistent among all providers of car insurance is that a clean driving record is critical to your rate. Although accidents are sometimes unavoidable, it is imperative that you adhere to all traffic regulations and that you drive safely at all times. This will reduce the number of traffic violations that you incur as well as the number of accidents that you cause. Following these tips will help you to maintain a clean driving record that will keep the cost of your car insurance low.

Many drivers lament paying their monthly car insurance bill because they feel as though the insurance isn’t necessary. Although car insurance is a financial burden that seems superfluous, it does pay off if you are ever in a serious car accident that has significant financial ramifications. For this reason, you should never consider allowing your car insurance to lapse and it is recommended that you search diligently to find the best available rate on your car insurance.

About the author:
Get all the information you need about car insurance at:
http://www.1-in-insurance.com

The 12 Reasons Why Most Ads Fall Flat On Their Face, Costing You A Fortune Instead of Making You The Money You Deserve!

by: Scott Wilson

1.You think you need ‘Image’ or ‘branding’ advertising because that’s all the so-called ‘top guns’ use in their advertising. You don’t use direct response advertising they don’t and you’d think they know best.

2.You never offer compelling benefits that cause your prospect to want to do business with you of your competitor.

3.You don’t use powerful, benefit driven headlines that literally stop your prospect in their tracks and draw them into the body of your ad.

4.You don’t tell your prospect what’s in your offer from them. But you do ramble on about your image, your business and what you are trying to sell him.

5.You don’t talk to your prospect like you know him. You don’t get specific and don’t motivate him.

6.You don’t address your prospect needs, wants and desires in your opening headlines. You’re to busying thinking about yourself or your company image! Remember, your prospect is thinking of one thing only WIIFM (What’s I It For Me?)

7.Your ads are boring and dull and look like all the other hundreds of ads. You don’t motivate your prospect to take ACTION. You don’t use energetic, exciting, action words! Your about as exciting as wet paint!

8.Because you copy what everyone else is doing, or do as the ad agency suggests, your ads are full of “white space” which leaves little room to add any benefits. (The only thing your prospect is looking for) You never have ads with a lot of copy. It’s the copy your prospects want. Information is King!

9.You don’t give specifics in your ads. Your prospects want exact numbers, percentages, results and testimonials. They want all the facts before they will make the decision to move towards a buying decision.

10.You don’t give your prospects any reason to act on your offer NOW. Tell them how to in a step by step process. Unless you tell them, them may not know what the next step is?

11.You don’t see your marketing, sales and advertising as a total system. It’s this total system that can either make or break you as a profitable business. They are not separate functions, with separate goals.

12.You focus on YOU, YOUR COMPANY, YOUR LOGO, YOUR CREDENTIALS, instead of focusing on what all of this can do for your prospect. What BENEFITS will them get if they buy with you?

Now you know the 12 reasons why maybe, some of the ads you are running are not pulling any responses at all! In fact they will be costing you and your company money EVERY TIME YOU RUN THEM!

About the author:
It doesn’t have to be this way, explode your businesses cash register today and check out www.SmarterBusinessLeads.comfor Low Cost Advertising & Marketing Ideas!

How to check and change your air filter

by: Jakob Jelling

You car's air filter is very important since it maintains some parts of your car system clean and free of dirt. If your air filter doesn't work properly and dirt enters your car this might make it go through different problems, and therefore it is important that you check the filter and change it when necessary. Your mechanic can do it for you although it is very easy and you could do it yourself as well.

It is recommended that you change your car's air filter once a year or every 15.000 miles if you live in an averagely dusty area. But, if you can check it once in a while and replace it as soon as it needs it this would be much better. Checking it is a very easy thing to do and replace it is not complicated once you learn how to do it.

If you wish to check your car's air filter yourself and in an easy way, you can do so by using a light from inside pointing outside and check how bright it looks through it. If you see the light clearly, then your air filter is still good, but if you can't see much of the light then it indicates the filter needs to be changed.

Newer cars have different air filters than older ones. If your car is rather new, its air filter is probably rectangular and you might find it located under the hood, near the radiator area or the fender wells. In order to change it, you must open it and take the actual air filter from it, replacing it by the new and then closing it again.

If your car is older, then the air filter will probably be of a big round shape and located near the engine area. It might probably be screwed, and all you might need to do is to unscrew the cover, let the air filter come out, and place the new one instead of it. You must pay attention in case it has any other attachment mechanisms such as clips which you would need to take off as well.

About the author:
Jakob Jelling is the founder of http://www.autorized.com Please visit his website to learn about auto maintenance, auto insurance, auto safety and much more!

How to change a tire without help

by: Jakob Jelling

Learning how to change a tire can be one of the most useful things you could learn regarding your car. Having a flat tire in the middle of a route or on your way to an appointment can be a big problem if you do not know how to change it and have to wait for help, and therefore, it would be great if you can do it without having to wait for someone else.

In order to change a tire you should make sure you have parked your car at the side of the road and following all the safety rules that correspond to the case. You must apply the parking brake and place the shift in first gear. Then, you should look for the spare tire, the lug wrench and the jack. If you do not know where the spare tire is, you can look for it in the car owner's manual.

Once you have found all you need, you should start by taking off the hubcap of the tire you wish to remove. You should do this with the help of a screwdriver or the end of the lug wrench. Then you should loosen the lug nuts with only one turn, do not completely loosen them until you have lifted the car.

Next you should lift the car with the jack. If you do not know how to do this, you can find instructions in your car owner's manual on where to place the jack as well as the jack itself might bring some directions too. You should lift the car until the tire you wish to change is some inches away from the ground. Then finish removing the lug nuts and remove the tire.

Once you have removed the old tire, you should place the spare one in the correct place aligning the holes. Then, you should place the lug nuts and tighten them until they feel secure. Once you have done this, you must lower the car back to the ground and take the jack away from it. Then, you should have the flat tire repaired and change it back as soon as you can.
About the author:

Jakob Jelling is the founder of http://www.autorized.com Please visit his website to learn about auto maintenance, auto insurance, auto safety and much more!

How to Buy Cheaper Auto Insurance Than Your Friends!

by: Codrut Turcanu

What if all of your friends are the same age as you, have
similar driving records and credit reports, and own vehicles
like yours?

Believe it or not, that doesn't necessarily mean you will
have the same auto insurance premiums. Wouldn't you like to
be the one who gets the same policy, but gets it cheap?
All it takes is some know-how, and realizing what to look
for when shopping online for your auto insurance.

Shop around—and online.

Consumer groups tell us that the primary reason people
don't get cheap auto insurance is because they don't
comparison shop. It is the simple truth that there are so
many auto insurance companies out there, you'll never find
the same insurance quote twice. That's why shopping online
is the single best way to find cheap auto insurance.

Online services offer quotes from multiple insurance
companies, often within minutes. You can then choose the
carrier that offers you the same policy at the cheapest
rate. Your neighbor may be sticking with the same auto
insurance company out of habit, but his failure to shop
online for a cheaper rate is his first mistake.

Get all the discounts.

When you are shopping online for a cheap auto quote, make
sure and read about the discounts that are offered. Most
insurance companies offer, for example, a multi-car
discount. In addition, there may be a good student discount
that makes the policy cheaper for youthful drivers. Don't
think you or your kid will qualify? Read the fine print.
Often, the good student discount isn't as hard to get as
you may think.

Have you had insurance for the past six months? By
providing the online service with proof of prior insurance,
you may also qualify for a cheap rate with your new
insurance company. What about your house—do you own it? If
so, many auto insurance carriers also offer homeowner
insurance, or even insurance for your boat or other
property, and that discount can bring that rate down to a
level cheap enough to make even your brainy brother jealous.

Check your driving record.

Many people pay the pricey amount that shows up on their
bill, never realizing that an error in their driving record
is the culprit. Your insurance company usually gets an
electronic copy of your driver history and applies any auto
accidents and tickets toward your premiums.

If you take the time to get a copy of your record and find
an error, you can easily have it removed, bringing you
closer to your dream of cheap auto insurance. Additionally,
make sure that you have gotten credit for any safe driver
courses you have taken in the past.

Ditch the spouse and kids.

No, you don't have to leave your family to get cheap
insurance. But your auto insurance company may allow a
split policy, which could get you a cheaper premium. If
there is a "certain someone" on your auto policy that has
a bad driving record, the rates may be higher for everyone.
Additionally, if there are any youthful drivers on the
policy, they may be keeping the more experienced drivers
from qualifying for the best rate. In many cases, it is
just a matter of moving the offending driver to their
own policy, and presto, cheap insurance!

Make sure you know your options and check them all out
when you're shopping online for auto insurance. Even if
you've got the best car on the block, the smartest kids,
and the biggest house, there's just something about buying
cheap auto insurance that can make you feel superior.

About the author:
Who Else Wants to Discover the Shocking Truth About Auto Insurance Online? Car rentals offer the renter the opportunity to drive a car, truck or SUV that they normally would not or could not buy. Renting a car is for a weekend get away, to impress someone or just to have something different to drive for a couple of days are some of the most popular reasons to visit a rental company. However, as fun as it is to rent cars, there are some not so fun things that must happen before you drive it off the lot.

1- Keep in mind that most rental companies will not rent to any driver under the age of 25. If you fall under that magic number, you more than likely will need to get an older relative or friend to sign the actual contract for you.

2- You will of course, need a valid drivers license to rent the car. If you do not have a license, they will not rent to you under any circumstances. Most companies will also require you to reserve your car with the use of a major credit card, however, you can pay in cash if you would prefer.

3- You do not need to have personal auto insurance to rent a car; they will ask you if you would like to purchase their insurance for the duration of the rental contract. If, however, you have your own insurance policy, be sure to call your agent to see if you are covered during your use of a rental car. If your personal auto policy covers you, there is no need to purchase a policy from the rental company.

4- It is wise to call several car rental companies to inquire about prices, car availability and specials. Ask about options such as upgrades, pick up and drop off services, unlimited mileage and weekend versus weekly rental prices. Many companies will also offer special deals to customers who are members of other organizations (i.e. credit unions, warehouse clubs, etc).

5- After you have called around, found the best deal and reserved your choice car; it is time to pick it up. Be sure to have all of your personal paperwork with you, including your auto policy if you will not be buying theirs. Before you sign the contract, read through it and ask any questions you may have.

About the author:
John Mancini has been writing about rental cars online and offline for a long time. These forklift parts are vital to the operation of the equipment. Forks, brake components, and transmissions are some of the parts that are purchased most often.

Forklift parts can be purchased from several sources. Both new and used parts are usually available wherever forklifts are sold. Many dealerships have extensive catalogues that list the parts they have available. There are a number of different manufacturers of forklift parts. The same company that made the forklift can make the replacement parts or a generic maker can manufacture them.

The forks are possibly the most important component of the forklift. Without quality forks, the lift is not able to transport cargo efficiently. The forks, also called blades or tines, vary greatly from model to model. Most forks are made of steel. Forks differ in the amount of weight they can handle. Weaker model forks can safely lift 900 pounds, while heavy-duty forks are capable of lifting several tons. It is important to note that a forklift’s weight capacity depends on much more than just the forks. The engine size and the strength of the lifting system also play important roles in determining how much a forklift can safely carry.

Forklift brake parts are other important parts. Forklift brakes operate in a similar manner to the brakes of an automobile and they have many parts in common. Brake shoes and break drums are among the most commonly purchased forklift brake parts.

Forklift transmissions are vital to the machine’s operation. Forklifts can use either manual or automatic transmissions. Manual transmissions are probably more common and are easier to fix, but many people prefer automatic transmissions because they are easier to use. Many forklift parts dealers have both new and used transmissions for sale.

Buying good replacement forklift parts is a great way to keep the machine functioning properly. Many forklift parts dealers offer extensive warranties on their products. Forklift parts are available for nearly every make and model, so it should not be too hard to find the necessary parts.

About the author:
Forklifts Info provides detailed information about forklifts, including rough terrain and truck-mounted forklifts, used forklifts, and forklifts for sale, as well as forklift parts, accessories, operators, and safety. Nuble

You don’t really need to be the ultimate car geek to figure out the ins and outs of savings when buying a new car. You just need some car buying tips, a calculator, a notepad and pen and mental savvy to play the cost game with a couple of car dealers.

To set you on the road to the car that you’ve always wanted without the burden of high costs, here are some car buying tips guaranteed to lighten your path.

Car buying tip #1: Do your price homework.

In order to get the best deal, you have to first determine what the fair price is for the car that you want and what the car costs in various car dealers. Researching for the fair price can be a bit tricky as all dealers would have different prices. One way to do this is to log on to websites such as Cars.com, InvoiceDealers.com, CarsDirect.com, AutoWeb, Edmunds.com, Car.com and AutoUSA and see what their prices are. After comparing, you will have a fairly good idea how it costs.

Car buying tip #2: Price is not everything

While price is the motor that would keep your car buying running, it is not the only thing that you should consider. Most car dealers would have a promo of some sort whether it be a free service, free parts or lower interest rates in financing. Look at this also along with the price. One may have lower prices but may not offer the same package.

Car buying tip #3: Compare and tell

Having done your price homework, you can now use the data to haggle with car dealers. Tell each of them that you are looking at the prices of several dealers. Quote some prices to make them believe you. Knowing this, they will give you their lowest possible price and may even offer some good deals just to prevent you from buying your car at their competitor.

Car buying tip #4: Budget. Budget. Budget

Knowing how much you can shell out and sticking to it can help you in negotiating for a better price. This is one car buying tip that most buyers forget. Remember, dealers can sense your indecision and may not give you the best price that they have in the house.

Car buying tip #5: Secure your finances

Car dealers are not the only ones who can offer great financial deals. You can get a loan from your bank or even from online lenders like Capital One Auto Finance and E-loan.

Car buying tip #6: Consider trade-in

When you have an old car and you will not be using it anymore, consider trading it in to lessen the costs of the other car. Figure its trade-in value and start from there. Some dealers accept trade in but oftentimes, you can get a better deal selling your old car privately.

Car buying tip #7: Allow for a time leeway

Buying a car at the last minute will not only cut off the possibilities of doing research and waiting for better deals but it will also make you quite desperate to buy one. Desperation in any car dealers’ book equals high costs.

Car buying tip #8: Ask for rebates and rewards

When you pay in cash, car dealers offer special discounts, rebates or rewards. Make sure that you ask your car dealer about them as some can “conveniently” forget about them until after you are out the door.

About the author:
John G. Most of us make sure that our cars are ready for the onslaught of frigid winter weather too. We make sure we have snow tires, an ice scraper and deicer.

However, in summer months we can shed our heavy and restrictive coats and hats and take life easy. We also tend to be more lax with our car care too. Remember, you car needs protection and routine maintenance year round, no matter what the temperature.

Your engine is effected by extremes of temperature. Don't think that it isn't hard on the engine when you sit idling in a traffic jam in 90 degree plus temperature with the air conditioner blasting away inside.

The first reason to keep up a maintenance schedule is to save yourself money in the long run. If you have a newer car in order to keep the warranty in effect you need to have it serviced according to your manufacturers recommended schedule.

If your car is older and out of warranty you need to be more vigilant. It's up to you to make a service schedule for your car. Make a checklist and keep track of the following items;

Oil. This should be changed every 3,000 miles. If you car is "using" oil as the saying goes, check it every other time you fill up. Carry an extra quart of oil in the trunk. Along with an oil change most "speedy" oil change business check belts, hoses, fluid levels, tires, etc.

Antifreeze. Have your cars heating and cooling system checked on at least yearly. You want to make sure you have adequate temperature protection, summer and winter.

Air cleaner. This should be checked at the same time you have your oil changed. A clogged air cleaner can really slow down your engines performance.

Brakes. If you notice any squealing of your breaks have them checked as soon as possible. It's much cheaper to replace worn pads than it is to have to replace expensive rotors if they become worn.

Tires. The air pressure is usually checked at the same time you have your oil changed. You should also have the tires rotated on a regular basis, this can really prolong their life.

Battery. Batteries are sealed units now. Have the battery checked at least once a year.

Following these tips all year round will help you keep you car in top running order.

About the author:
This article courtesy of http://www.bmw-fanclub.net

Buying new vs. used cars.

by: Mantius Cazaubon

New vs used. Which car is right for you? Consider the following.

Owning a brand new car is exciting. But financially speaking, it makes more sense to buy a used car. As soon as you drive a new car off the lot, it loses a great portion of its value. This is because your car is no longer “new”.

New cars lose about 40% of their value within 3 years, then depreciation starts to slow down. Why not buy a used car and allow someone else to take that depreciation hit?

The previous owner will have absorbed the steepest part of the depreciation cycle. At that point the costs of owning and operating the car will be reduced. The money you save on depreciation will surely go a long way.

Another benefit of buying used is lower cost. By buying used you pay less. You will also save on financing costs, insurance premiums, registration and licensing fees. You don’t have to worry about paying sales tax.

As with everything else there are a few downsides to buying a used car. There are greater chances for costly unwarranted repairs. You may very soon have to do major maintenance on your car, including replacing tires, battery, brakes, muffler, and perhaps even the transmission.

A used car is usually less reliable. You don’t know exactly what you’re getting into and how the previous owner treated the car. However, every situation is different and some used models may actually be far more reliable than some new ones.

If you can pay cash, go the new car way. Enjoy the feeling of knowing you're the original owner of a new car in mint condition. Nothing can replace that feeling.

Otherwise do not hang your hat higher than you can reach. Practice financial prudence. Save your money and comfort yourself knowing that one day you will be able to afford that dream car. One day when money is no object.

About the author:
Mantius Cazaubon offers a guide geared towards helping you find the best deals on reliable parts and accessories for your automobile at http://www.toyota-parts-guide.com Visit http://www.toyota-parts-guide.com for auto parts savings.

Shopping for your Motorcycle Parts Online with less effort

by: Karen Nodalo

If you are among those who spend most of your day attending to your motorcycles, indeed you are considered to be called a motorcycle enthusiast. These people would exchange their important appointments and dates just to buy more time with their motorcycles. That’s pretty fanatical I guess.

Some people really exert all their efforts in maneuvering their bikes. Some even have treated screws, wedges and other tools like their meals and food for the day. There are some who love motorcycles but only for the means of traveling and easy riding to escape themselves from heavy traffic over big busses, trucks and cars. As you can see, motorcycles are small and can fit on thin spaces in the streets.
Motorcycle lovers care for their bikes like caring for their own selves. They would even spend loads of money for maintenance, upgrades and repairs. For them, buying motorcycle parts is like buying clothes for themselves. I think that’s precisely what you call dedication and more like it.

Some purchase motorcycle parts as if they were dressing their motorcycles for a display, some rather for good performance and sound. Upgrading your motorcycles is indeed helpful. Finding new parts with good quality for your motorcycles is keeping up its power and performance. Since it is important, one must carefully be inclined with knowledge in choosing the right parts and brands.

These motorcycle parts can be acquired and purchased in hardware and motorcycle stores. It lubricates parts. It helps cool things down. Without it, your engine would be sitting squarely in the center of your local junkyard.

Scheduling regular oil changes is vital to the life of any vehicle.

The oil filter keeps little bits of dust and other contaminants out of your engine, and helps ensure the oil runs smoothly, so you want to change that every time you change the oil.

Imagine how your body would react if your kidneys and liver shut down. The impurities in your blood would build up continually, and it wouldn't take long for your body to completely break down.

Oil for your car can be likened to blood to your body. Your car needs clean oil to keep going. What would happen if you never changed your oil?

Well, you'd be lucky to get 30,000 miles out of the car before your engine would collapse.

Say you only change your oil once a year. Your car seems to be running fine, so no harm done, right? Not so fast! Your engine has been flooded with contaminants. It won't be long till you find yourself coming to a standstill.

Regular oil changes are as important to your car as daily trips to the bathroom are to you. Now, we won't take the analogy too far, but you get the idea. This one scheduled maintenance may help your vehicle avoid mechanical failures.

I actually heard two mechanics say that they figured you could run a car forever if you had the oil changed every 2000 miles. That may seem excessive to some folks. But it kept my baby humming nicely!

Now if you see any hint of an oil leak on the driveway after the car is parked, get to a service station. This could be ultra bad news and you need to have your car checked out immediately. Ditto if you detect a burning smell or smoke coming from around the engine!

You may not feel 100omfortable changing your oil, but you can check it easily. It's best to check the oil when your engine is cold. Unscrew the cap and pull out the dipstick. Wipe it with a clean tissue or paper towel. Reinsert the stick all the way. Then pull it back out and check the dipstick. You'll see "add" and "full" lines clearly marked on it. If the oil film is between the "add" and "full" lines, you're good. If it's below the "add" line, you need a quart of oil. Make sure you use the kind recommended in your owner's manual. After adding the oil, repeat all the steps.

See, that wasn't too hard, was it?

Make sure you take the time to check the oil levels in your car, and have it changed regularly. It literally means the difference between life and death for your vehicle!

About the author:
This article provided courtesy of http://www.car-leasing-guide.net

Tips on Car Leasing

by: Jeff Slokum

Leasing a car isn't for everyone. If you're like me and keep your car for many, many years then leasing isn't for you. If however, you don't get "attached" to a vehicle as some of us do, and you like having a new car every few years then leasing may be for you.

Today's cars are built very well and you can expect to get a good amount of mileage from your car. You can expect at least 100,000 miles. If you purchase a car you may have five years of payments, but your car may last eight to ten years. This means three to five years of no monthly car payments. However, as you car ages, the need for upkeep goes up too. With more mileage on you car things start to break down and costs to keep your car up mechanically may go up. It's doubtful though that what you pay out for maintenance and car repair will ever be as much as monthly payments would be.

When you lease a car you make monthly payments as you would if you purchased a car outright. But, when a lease is up you have nothing to show for it. These monthly payments may be somewhat less than if you were buying the car. Leasing a car usually requires large down payments and security deposits, taxes and fees. It isn't necessarily cheaper up front than buying a car. Also, when you lease a car you have mileage restrictions. A lease generally allows between 12,000 and 15,000 miles annually. If you go over that amount you pay for each mile. This can really add up.

Leasing doesn't mean you don't have to pay for upkeep. You are held to the manufacturers specified servicing schedule for your vehicle. If you don't have the required maintenance performed this can void your lease.
If you want to end the lease early there are generally large termination fees. At the end of your lease if there is damage to the car, or if there are missing parts you will be charged for them.

Make sure if you are considering leasing a vehicle that you understand all the fine print in the contact and all possible extra costs before signing on the dotted line.

About the author:
This article courtesy of http://www.bmw-fanclub.com

All you need to know about pick-up trucks

by: suwan k

Although diesel prices have shot up to about Bt23 per litre, cars with diesel engines are still more popular than their petrol-driven counterparts due to their durability and functionality in varying weather conditions. This is thanks to the lack of a high-powered ignition system.

In Thailand, diesel-powered pickups will enjoy continued popularity for decades to come. Motorists, especially in the provinces, need vehicles that can tackle varying road conditions and carry lots of cargo and people. Thus we see pickups being modified for many purposes and hence classified into several vehicle categories.

I'm interested car in the Mitsubishi Strada. I want to know whether it is a good choice for driving to work as well as driving back to my hometown that is about 400 km from Bangkok once a month. On the way back I need to carry lots of OTOP products weighing about 500-700 kg.

You should have mentioned whether you are interested in the 2.5 or the 2.8-litre engine. Anyway, I recommend the 2.9-litre 4M40 engine because the fuel economy is about the same as the 2.5-litre, but it’s more durable. It also uses a chain-type timing belt, which lasts much longer than the belt type so you don’t have to worry about replacing the timing belt. The body and suspension is similar.

If you are not in a hurry to get the Strada, I strongly suggest you wait another one to two months for the new Mitsubishi Triton pickup which will be available with 2.5-litre direct injection, 2.5-litre common-rail and 3.2-litre 4M41 DOHC 16-valve common-rail engines. The design has been totally revamped.

So if you can, it’s much better to wait and see how the new truck is. You can get the information from test drives in your preferred newspaper and then make the decision.

I have a 1993 Mitsubishi Champ that has covered 130,000 km but its condition is very good. I would like to sell this car. How much would I get?

You won’t get more than Bt75,000 to Bt80,000 if you sell it to a used car or truck dealer, but the condition must be really good. If you are patient and sell to a direct buyer, then you can raise the price up to Bt120,000. If the potential buyer bargains for Bt100,000 you should sell it. If the body is good with no rust, it is a nice car because parts are cheap and the engine is very economical.

After buying the truck I want to install a roof over the bed. Which is better – the fibreglass Carryboy or steel Sammitr?

Fibreglass roofs are light and look better thanks to a moulding process. There are several brands in the market that are very popular. Steel roofs are stronger and can help reduce damage if the truck overturns. The shade of the paint also matches the body and stays good for a long time compared to fibreglass roofs.

The extra weight may result in increased fuel consumption, but it is so small you can't measure it. Another advantage of steel roofs is that you can mount a roof rack on top.

However, when parked under direct sunlight, the roof gets very hot and if you have an extra air-conditioner at the rear, it will be forced to work harder than with a fiberglass roof.

About the author:
Suwan K. is a manager of car online info - car online , car online info website devoted to the used truck - car sale or news and information on Internet.

Are You Tired of Trite Tips on Fuel Savings

by: Dee Scrip

In these days of record high fuel prices affecting already stretched budgets, many of us are looking for tips on fuel savings. Unfortunately, most tips are “no-brainers”.

Some suggest staying within posted speed limits because “…the faster you drive, the more fuel you use.” Daah !!! Explain that to a teenager!

Oh, here’s one – “combine errands”. Come on, anyone who runs a household figured that one out eons ago, just to maintain sanity.

Here’s another I just love – remove excess weight. Hmm… let me think, I can make the kids walk to their sports events or mall, and meet them when they arrive. And, of course, ban any friends from catching a ride. But then again, when the riot occurs, the police will have to use their fuel instead.

After much research, here’s a few fuel savings tips I found that actually make sense:

1. Depending on a vehicle’s condition, you can increase fuel savings simply by keeping your engine tuned.
2. Maintaining proper inflation of tires can increase fuel savings by up to 6%.
3. Replace air, oil, and fuel filters regularly. Clogged filters decrease fuel savings.

But the best tip to date is this simple fuel savings solution:

A small Power Pill, the size of a penny, that can be dropped into the tank at fill up. Here’s what the PowerPill does:

· Provides fuel savings averaging 15% on cars and 20% on diesel trucks
· Conditions the engine by cleaning it, resulting in eliminating and preventing what is known as “carbon deposits”, the culprit behind decreased fuel savings.
· Lowering octane requirements, thus saving an additional 5¢ to 10¢ per gallon.
· More savings on maintenance by extending the life of spark plugs, valves, engine, and frequent oil changes.
· Environmental benefits by significantly reducing toxic pollutants, which in essence allows us to breathe cleaner air and live longer.

N.A.S.A. engineered and SAE tested over a decade ago, global results can be found at http://www.thepowerpill.com/tests including the most recent unsolicited tests performed by Dial-A-Cab taxi drivers in London.

For more information, visit http://www.helpwithfuelprices.com

About the author:
Dee Scrip is a well known and respected published expert author of numerous articles on PowerPill Fe-3, Home Business, Business Opportunities, Fundraising, VoIP, VoIP Security, and other related VoIP issues.
http://www.ubpill.com
http://www.free-pc-phone.com
Fuel Savings Tips
